A-TACS was officially revealed at the well known SHOT SHOW in Las Vegas this past January. A-TACS stands for Advanced Tactical Concealment System, and it’s design replaces digital square pixels with small organically shaped pixels, removing all 90-degree angles to create a more natural appearance. Additionally, the organic pixels are segmented into larger groupings organized within the pattern, creating a unique “pattern within. The base color is a neutral tan, designed to blend effortlessly in open, rocky or arid environments which is another added bonus!! The Propper A-TACS ACU is said to be sewn to military specifications and made from 65% polyester/ 35% cotton ripstop fabric.
The Gen III Fleece is designed to be worn with military personnel’s outwear parkas, it is constructed with Polartec Thermal Pro material. Providing the same body heat retention as bulkier liners, those wearing the fleece will not feel the chilly discomfort caused by cold weather or winter conditions. Sewn to meet military specifications GL/PD-06-03, the fleece has two internal chest pockets and two hand-warmer pockets on the outside. Wearers may affix their name, rank and insignia to the fleece with the Velcro fasteners.
